Well, my life is exciting. 'Bout a month ago, I got the news of being "let go" from my job. This was a little bit of a blow for me. I was hoping that I'd be able to be there for at least a few years, but that's not how it works when you're working in technology these days. I'm optimistic about my chances to find another position in the same field. There certainly is a lot of work available in the area. So far I've had contact with a couple companys.

In the meantime, I've been able to take some extra time for myself. I was able to spend a whole week at home for the holidays, and I avoided the traffic for the drives. I've gotten time to ski almost weekly and get more exercise in. I've been a little interested in updating this site a little bit, but I'm not sure if anything will actually happen, so don't hold your breath.
